Alaskan Skeleton Shrimp (Caprella alaskana) (622Wx650H) - Pender Island - Brickly Bay, 2cm, 15'. Nice surprise on a hydroid growing on eelgrass. Did not see the shrimp with my naked eye!

Flattop Crab (Petrolisthes eriomerus) (650Wx486H) - Pender Island - Roesland intertidal. Notice the blue colouration distinguishing this species.

Isopod sp (600Wx409H) - Drummond Bay - Pender Island, high intertidal puddle, 2cm. So far I am unable to find the species name in any references.

Furrowed Rock Crab (Cancer branneri) (550Wx413H) - Pender Island - Boundary Pass beach access. 45', 10cm width. Hairy little crab. Took this photo right after a mud shark rammed my head. No mud shark photo... yet.

Purple Shore Crab - green variant (480Wx394H) - Cabbage Island, intertidal, 4cm, under rocks and in mud. Normally purple in colour, it sometimes comes in green.

Widehand Hermit (Elassochirus tenuimanus) (480Wx439H) - Tilly Point - East of point, Pender Island, 35' deep. 2cm, quite funny to watch as its right claw was longer than the entire creature and it was dragging the claw as it moved away from the camera
